Getting back into work after some time off can be a real challenge and you may need help to overcome any employment barriers you are facing. The Restart Scheme, part of the government’s Plan for Jobs, provides employment support for those who need it most. Commissioned by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), Get Set UK delivers the Restart Scheme with partners, Maximus in Walthamstow and Redbridge, FEDCAP in Portsmouth and Crawley and Ingeus in Camberwell and Southwark.
Through Restart, we provide support that is tailored to your personal needs and circumstances. We’re here to help you every step of the way. Together we will overcome any challenges or concerns that may be preventing you from finding work and will find the right opportunity for you.

Following a referral from your local Jobcentre Plus Work Coach we guide job seekers like you through the Restart Scheme programme with the aim of helping you, find and secure a job. If you receive Universal Credit or Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA IB), this programme is designed to help you restart your career and get back into work. Ask your local Jobcentre Plus Work Coach about the Restart Scheme and how it can support you in finding and securing a job.
As a participant, you will have a dedicated Employment Advisor who will provide advice and support tailored to your individual needs for up to 12 months. Whatever your work goals and existing skill set, we will help you create an action plan to find a job. You will also have exclusive access to local job opportunities from employers who receive free recruitment services from Get Set UK.
